Our first couple of days in Florence were quite rainy.
And the rain seemed to have come out of nowhere.
So sitting in our AirBnB apartment, with the sound of raindrops pounding against the roof and windows, I sat to take a photo and do a quick painting of the scene that was unfolding in front of me.
Then, many years later - I painted this more complete, polished version.
